This page forgets your ticks when you close it. QuickPack keeps them, works out how many of each to bring from your dates, and reminds you before you go.

Three things to know before you pack.

  • Check the car before the bag

Tire pressure, the spare, oil and washer fluid. Five minutes at home beats an hour at the roadside.

  • Keep a day bag up front

Snacks, water, wipes, chargers and sunglasses within reach, so nobody unpacks the trunk at a rest stop.

  • Download before you leave

Maps and playlists saved to the phone keep working when the signal does not.

Frequently asked questions

What documents do I need for a road trip?

Your driver's license, the vehicle's registration and proof of insurance. For a rental, bring the booking and the card you paid with. If you are driving abroad, check whether you need an international driving permit.

How do I pack a car for a long drive?

Heavy bags low and toward the middle, the things you need on the road on top or behind the front seats, and nothing loose above the seat backs, where it can fly forward.
