This page forgets your ticks when you close it. QuickPack keeps them, works out how many of each to bring from your dates, and reminds you before you go.
Three things to know before you pack.
-
Shoes you have already walked in
City days run to ten or fifteen thousand steps. Bring the pair your feet know, not the new one.
-
Layers beat a heavy coat
Museums are warm and streets are not. A T-shirt, a shirt and a light jacket handle both.
-
Leave room in the bag
Pack it four fifths full. The rest is for what you buy.
Frequently asked questions
Can I do a city trip with only a backpack?
For two or three nights, yes. Wear your bulkiest layer, pack two tops for each bottom, and keep toiletries in travel sizes so the bag passes as a cabin bag.
What should I carry during the day?
A small backpack with a water bottle, a power bank, an umbrella and your tickets. Leave your passport in the hotel safe unless you need it that day.
