Let QuickPack build this list for your trip.
This page forgets your ticks when you close it. QuickPack keeps them, works out how many of each to bring from your dates, and reminds you before you go.
Three things to know before you pack.
-
Check your passport's dates today
Many countries want it valid for six months after you arrive. A renewal takes weeks, so look now, not the night before.
-
Copies, on paper and on your phone
A copy of your passport, insurance and bookings, kept apart from the originals, turns a lost wallet from a crisis into a nuisance.
-
Tell your bank, and carry two cards
Keep the second card in a different bag. If one is lost or blocked, you can still pay.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a travel adapter or a voltage converter?
An adapter changes the shape of the plug, and it is what most travelers need: phone and laptop chargers work on any voltage. A converter is only for things that do not, such as some hair dryers. The label says: look for 100 to 240 V.
What documents do I need to travel abroad?
A passport, a visa or travel authorization where the country asks for one, proof of your return or onward journey, and travel insurance. Some countries also ask for proof of vaccination.
