This page forgets your ticks when you close it. QuickPack keeps them, works out how many of each to bring from your dates, and reminds you before you go.

Three things to know before you pack.

  • Three layers, not one thick one

A thermal layer, a sweater or hoodie, and a jacket that stops the wind. Indoors you take one off instead of overheating.

  • Wear the coat and the boots to travel

They are the heaviest things you are bringing. On you, they take no room in the suitcase.

  • Cold drains batteries

Phones lose charge fast in the cold. Keep yours in an inside pocket and bring a power bank.

Frequently asked questions

How many sweaters do I need for a week?

Two or three. A sweater sits over a base layer, so it stays fresh for several days. Bring more base layers instead: they are thin, and they are what you change.

Do I need sunscreen in winter?

If there is snow, yes. Snow reflects sunlight, and a bright day outdoors can burn your face. A lip balm with sun protection helps too.
